Surfing for almost 40 years now and i’m proud to be called soul surfer.

My students call me Surfing Zen Master haha so i feel lucky!

All my life is about pursuing this thing called wave riding, and surfing in general.

Because i was so sold on surfing i started  windsurfing, kite surfing, and also SUP but my focus has always been surfing.

Started at summer of 1982, on the beaches north of Haifa, as a young boy without any guidance moreover i had the most unsuitable surfboard in the world.

To understand better this era, we were 5 surfers in the water. At the most.

We had no training, no YouTube, only a faltering video we saw hundreds of times.

Mostly we read  a bunch of old surf magazines’ just for example on how different it was back then.

But the desire to surf, to get better, to learn, to deepen – was stronger than anything.

After a busy and eventful career in recent years, I realized that for me it is best to work barefoot, with sand between my toes.

The demand for surfing, especially in a coastal state like ours, has always been there. Lately – the demand for this type of sport is rising and the awareness to step up in terms of professionalism is rising in parallel.

Out of this need for professional training, I decided share my knowledge and experience with others.

So what is it like to be a surfer? And no, you do not have to get up every day at 5 am in the morning. That is an urban legend.

But, you have to love getting up from the couch, to get moving.

Go surfing even when the waves are not wow, even when it is cold, even hot. The world suddenly looks better, much better.

KOBE surf school is located at a prime location on tel aviv beach very protected by breakers and suited for teaching surfing.

Personally I teach all of our surfing private lessons both one on one or small groups like families coming together.

At KOBE we invite every surfer from beginner level to intermediate surfer level to learn and train with us.M
